The HROgre says “NEW JOBS! For the Holidays! SAVE 10% NOW

It’s the opinion of HR that non-preferred candidates have either a no college degree or less than 3 years of experience at one company, No degree means inexperienced and less that 3 years at a single employer, means no solid experience.

Companies prefer not to hire these people, because they cost more of over the length of their employment. A lot of time when a companies hire unexperienced people and spends money training to do their job, they quit 6 months late to get to a different compay to earn more because that company doesn’t have to spend the money training them.

Then a lot of times, the person thinks that its okay to hop from one company to the next, once training is complete and before the company can recoup their training investment dollar. These people are branded “job hoppers’ and during a good economy they can do this for years.

But once the economy turns bad, then these people can’t find a job, and I have seen them be out of work for up to 18 months
